- Cook pasta per package directions. Save ½ cup pasta water.
- In a pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes.
- Add drained pasta to the pan. Toss well.
- Season and serve with toppings of choice.
Notes
- You can add red pepper flakes for a little spicy kick — just enough to warn your tastebuds something good is coming.
- No fresh garlic? Garlic powder will do in a pinch, but don’t tell any Italian grandmothers.
- Leftovers? Reheat with a splash of water or a little extra butter and it’s like day one all over again.
